GUARANTEE
Your satisfaction is our top priority at Maidesite. For this reason, we are pleased to offer a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship on all new Maidesite products. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Only consumers who purchase Maidesite products from authorized Maidesite retailers or other resellers are eligible for our limited warranty.
What is insured?
1. Maidesite height-adjustable desk frames
All height-adjustable desks purchased include a 5-year warranty on the frame, motor and other mechanics, as well as a 5-year warranty on the control, switch and electronics.
2. Maidesite Adjustable Automatic Lifting Table Set
The flexible, adjustable, automatic lifting table set Maidesite comes with a 5-year warranty.
What happens if my product is defective?
1. Maidesite will replace (free of charge for you) the defective parts of any of our products if the defect is due to improper workmanship and/or material defects.
2. If Maidesite is unable to supply a replacement product, or if the repair is not practical or cannot be completed in time, Maidesite may refund the purchase price upon return of the product.
Do I have to pay the shipping costs for a replacement product?
1. In the rare event that your Maidesite product is defective, we will provide you with a replacement item, which will be sent to you free of charge within Germany.
2. However, expedited shipping is possible if you pay the additional costs.
3. If you would like a replacement product sent to an address outside of Germany, you will have to pay the shipping costs.
What is not insured?
Our limited warranty does not cover problems caused by:
1. Conditions, malfunctions or damage not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship.
2. Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, incorrect use, negligence, accident or alteration.
3. Accessories, associated materials and products or related products not manufactured by Maidesite.
4. Conditions, malfunctions, or damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions and guidelines for the intended use of the product.
Our limited warranty is void if a product is returned with removed, damaged, or tampered-with labels or modifications (including removal of components or external covers).
How do I file a claim?
Submitting a warranty claim is quick and easy.
1. Simply contact customer service via email at contact@maidesite.de.
2. Make sure you have your receipt or other proof of purchase handy.
3. You must provide proof of the date and location of purchase of your Maidesite product.
Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Damages
1. Except as required by applicable law, the duration of all implied warranties (including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) is limited to the duration of this warranty, and Maidesite shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit or revenue, arising out of any express or implied warranty or condition.
2. Or, according to another legal theory, even if Maidesite was advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty.
3. Or the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so that the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
Applicable law and legal recourse
German law applies.
If you sue us, you can bring your claims before the following courts:
1. The court that has local jurisdiction over your place of residence or the court that has local jurisdiction over your habitual residence.
2. The court that has local jurisdiction over our registered office or the branch serving you.
If we sue you, we can assert claims arising from the insurance contract in the following courts:
1. The court that has local jurisdiction over your place of residence.
2. If you have a business or commercial enterprise, also the court of the place where the headquarters or branch of your business is located.
