Shipping & Delivery
General shipping conditions
1. If you order before 1:00 PM standard time during normal business hours, Maidesite orders will be shipped the same business day. Goods are usually delivered within 1-10 business days.
2. Each page displays the current delivery time for the main items, as well as any differing delivery times for individual options and accessories. If you wish to order backordered items, options, or accessories, please check your email for order updates.
3. Shipping within Germany is free.
Please note: Our shipments originate from a German warehouse.
Shipment tracking
1. We will send you an email with a tracking number immediately after your order has been shipped, which you can use to track your shipment. If your tracking number does not return any results, please wait a few hours for the carrier to update the status and then check again.
2. Depending on stock availability, your order may be delivered in multiple packages on different dates. We work hard to ensure your order is delivered complete at the same time, but some accessories may be shipped separately from the desk.
3. If you would like to provide personalized delivery instructions, select a delivery time and date, or reserve/redirect packages, please contact us.
4. Most orders are shipped via DHL and DPD; however, very large items or bulk orders are shipped via freight carrier. Click here for bulk order inquiries.
Customs duties and import VAT
1. Maidesite can be shipped to many places around the world.
2. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional country-specific import duties, customs clearance fees, customs service charges, and import VAT may apply. The amount of these charges depends on the destination country. Please contact your local customs office for this information. These charges are your responsibility.
Important NOTE
1. Self-collection of the goods by the buyer is not possible.
2. What if you are not home at the time of delivery? In this case, the package will either be left with your neighbor or will be available for collection by the delivery driver. You will receive the tracking number by email after your package has been shipped, so you can track its location at any time. If the order is being delivered by a freight carrier, a delivery date will be arranged with you by phone.
3. Check your shipment immediately upon receipt. Although damage in transit and/or loss of items are unlikely, the Maidesite service may notify the carrier within 3-5 working days if any are discovered. For example,
a. If you notice water stains, creases, cracks or damage to the product itself.
b. Please check the delivery note for damaged and/or missing items when signing.
